So Cooper is dragging me to go with him to see Iron Man tonight. I don't know a whole lot about the superhero, but I was told that it should be entertaining enough. I also heard that there's some commentary on the arms race, which should be interesting. I'm just hoping it's not as bad as Tobey Maguire dancing to avant-garde jazz like in Spider-Man 3. My experience with comic book films hasn't really been good. I think so far, I've only enjoyed the X-Men series since it managed to be action-packed and rich in context as it explored issues like tolerance... But we'll see about Iron Man. It's at least got Robert Downey Jr...
